Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick : Shade W273 Review

Hello all,
Today I am sharing my experience with yet another Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick. This shade i.e. W273 which I am reviewing in this post is I think my 4th or 5th shade from this range. I found Lakme enrich satin lipsticks very effective for the price they are being sold and additionally they have a huge range of shades to choose from. Hence I think I will keep on going back to them for more shades. I have already reviewed two shades from this range and following is the link for the same. Do check it out......

Lakme Enrich Satin P130 and P152

Shelf Life:
24 Months
Rs 260/- for 4.3gms I got is for Rs 200/- on discount.

Product Claim:
Steal the show with an intense, vibrant pout. The added goodness of olive oil and Vitamin E helps keep your lips feeling satin smooth.

My Experience: Shade W273
While going through the shades on the Lakme counter I found this shade to be unique and fell in love with it in first swipe itself. Well these Lakme Counters in malls do not have all the shades from the range; hence, one has to choose from limited shades. Although I found that and have a good collection of this range.

Well as in my previous reviews, I have mentioned that the packaging is very simple and sturdy. The packaging consists of silver colour body and bottom with transparent cap. The Shade number is mentioned at the bottom of the lipstick and the shade colour can be seen from the transparent lid.

Texture and Pigmentation:
The texture of the shade W 273 is very smooth and creamy but feels light in lips. It glides very smoothly on lips and looks glossy till one eats or drinks something. The colour payoff of this shade is extremely good and covers the pigmented lips in just one swipe.

The shade W273 in the bullet looks purple and when swatched on hand it looks a mix of mauve and purple. One can say that it is a purple shade with mauve undertones. Hands down the shade is the prettiest purple I have encountered till date. The shade will look equally beautiful on all skin tones. I might look very bright on very fair skin tones but medium and dusky skin tones will rock this shade.

Staying Power:
The lipstick stays for good 3 to 4 hours without much eating and drinking. With light eating and drinking it will lasts for 2-3 hours but it definitely leaves tint on the lips which looks beautiful.

Pros and Cons of the Lipstick P152:
      Huge range of colours
      Smooth and glossy finish
Nice shade for all skin colours
      Decent staying power

Not all shades are available at the counters.
      Highly Transferable.
      Need frequent touch up.

Packaging: 4/5
Texture: 4/5
Shade: 5/5
Staying Power: 3/5

Overall Rating: 4/5

Final Verdict:
Definitely I am going to buy this shade again as it suited me very well and will suit all Indian skin tone as well. So if you want to buy purple shade, which will not look over the top purple, than this is the shade.
Have a great day, Bye
