Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Cream: Shade No 15A Review

Hello Everyone,

Today I am reviewing another Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip cream in shade 15A. It is very difficult to find this Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Cream and once you locate them at a store, the store doesn’t have testers. And particularly the pricing of the lip creams differ in store and online. I think  one can buy them online in Rs 299 to Rs 399 . I have read that people have bought these lip creams at Rs 100 also, well I have bought them for Rs 150 and Rs 170. Whenever I find these lip creams at any store I just buy them because I just love these lip creams. Earlier I have reviewed the shade no 11 linked below:

Rs 170/- for 6.5gm

Product Claim:

It's not lipstick nor is it gloss. It's like nothing that you have experienced before. It's lipstick that goes on smoothly but looks matte.

My review: Shade 15A

The packaging of the lip cream is very simple and sturdy. It comes in sleek bottle which is covered with a plastic sheet and a doe foot applicator. The applicator is good and helps in application of correct amount of product on the lips. The top part of lip cream is black for all the shades, while the bottom part is color co-ordinated with the shade of the lip cream.

The lip cream as the name suggests is creamy in texture and turns matte on lips after application. The lip cream after turning matte is a bit drying on lips and tends to settle in the fine lines. This lip cream shade is not transferable after it has completely set matte.

The shade no 15A is a coral pink shade. This shade is an ideal summery coral shade.  This shade can be used every day and is ideal for summer holidays. The shade will suit very well on fair and medium skin tones, but for dusky skin tones it will only suit if the face is well prepped up with base.

The pigmentation of the shade 15A is very good i.e. it requires single swipe for opaque coverage on lips. I think the pigmentation of these lip creams depends on the shade.

Staying Power:

The staying power of lip cream is upto 4-5 hours and survives light meals. This shade does leave a tint on the lips for full day. For the price it is being sold, I think the staying power is commendable. Also the shade does not transfer much after turning matte which is a very good thing about the lip cream.

Pros and Cons of the Lip Cream 15A:

1.    Matte finish.
2.    Easy to apply.
3.    Not very Expensive
4.    Good Pigmentation.
5.    Travel friendly
6.    Less transferable
7.    Good Staying power
1.    Availability is an issue
2.    Drying on lips
3.    Settles in the fine line of lips

Packaging: 4/5
Texture: 4/5
Shade: 4/5
Pigmentation: 4/5
Staying Power: 4/5

Overall Rating: 4/5

Final Verdict:
These lip cream have great formula and are very affordable. I am definitely going to try other shades.

Have a great day, Bye
