Miss Claire Matte and Pearly gloss : Shade No 115 Review

Hello Everyone,

While asking for Miss Claire products in a beauty shop, I found this product named Miss Claire Matte and Pearly gloss, on the counter. As it was priced reasonably, I thought of trying it. Well I am not a gloss person but thought of using it as Miss Claire lip products are generally good.  I have bought the gloss in shade 115. So let us see the review:

My review: Shade 115

The packaging of the gloss is very similar to Miss Claire soft matte lip creams. The difference in the packaging is that the gloss outer body has a glossier color than the soft matte lip cream. Also on the outer body, the company has made some sort of design in black color. The gloss is a doe foot applicator and packaging is quite sturdy.

Overall the packaging is very good.

The Miss Claire gloss is very creamy to apply on the lips and helps in making lips plumper. The gloss is not sticky like other glosses in market but is semi matte and hence can be applied in summer day time also. The Miss Claire gloss unlike other glosses is very light on lips.

The pigmentation of the Shade 115 is good and covers the lips decently. The shade 115 is a light daytime kind of shade, but provides good coverage on the lips. This gloss can be applied on bare lips or over the existing lipstick on lips. I am very impressed with the pigmentation.

The shade no 115 is a pinkish gloss with orange undertones. This shade is a good summer shade and will suit all skin tones.

Staying Power:

The staying power of gloss is commendable as it lasts up-to 3-4 hours and survives light meals. After a meal, the shade will go away with no stain on the lips. But if one is not eating or drinking anything, the gloss remains as it is on lips.

Pros and Cons of the Lipstick:

1.    Shade is good.
2.    Affordable.
3.    Less transferable once set
4.    Non-sticky gloss
5.    Light on lips
6.    Good pigmentation

1.    Availability is an issue.

Packaging: 3/5
Texture: 4/5
Pigmentation: 4/5
Shade: 4/5
Staying Power: 4/5

Overall Rating: 4.5/5

Final Verdict:
The gloss is a matte gloss and I loved its feathery formula. I am definitely going to buy new shades in this.

Have a great day, Bye
