Patanjali Herbal Kajal Review

Hello everyone,
Today in this blog post I am going to review Patanjali Herbal Kajal. Patanjali is an Indain Herbal brand . Patanjali have made their way into the skin care by luanching lot of face washs and skin creams. The products from this brand are quite aoofrdable as comapred to other herbal products available in India. So let us review the kajal:

Price:
Rs 90/- for 3 gms

Product Claim:
Herbal Kajal a safe and unique ointment formulation. Its special combination of precious herbs, vegetable oils and waxes helps to maintaining and improving vision. Compostion: Each 3g contains (extract of) Rasaut (Berberis aristata) 0.3 mg Liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) 0.3 mg Triphala (Emblica officinalis, Terminelia) Chebula, Terminelia belerica 0.3 mg each) Almond oil (Prunus amygdalus) 60 mg Castro oil (Richnus Communis) 900 mg Base Material: Ointment Kajal base Q.S.

Direction for use: Apply gently on the inside edge of the eyelids. In case irritation due to sensitivity, removed safely by cotton wool and discontinue use store in cool and dry place for external use only.

My review:

Packaging:

The kajal comes in paper packaging covered with a plastic. The kajal comes in bullet and twist up kind of packaging like lipsticks. The kajal body has a transparent cap and a black base. Overall, the packaging is good i.e. ok for Rs 90 kajal.

Texture:
The texture of the kajal is very soft and it glides smoothly on waterline and eyelids. However, the good black color takes more than 3 strokes to show up on both waterline. The kajal has a semi matte finish.

Shade:

The shade of the kajal is black. The bold black kajal color shows up in more than three swipes on eyelid and waterline.

Staying Power:

I have used this kajal on both my eyelids and waterline and the kajal stays on for 3-4 hours on both and subsequently it starts to wear off . The kajal smudges very less on waterline as compared to eyelids. The kajal is not smudgeproof i.e. if mistakenly one touches the eyelids, the kajal will sumdge. As long as you are not touching the kajal on both watreline and eyelids, the kajal remins intact. The kajal is not waterproof and can easliy be reomved form eyes with normal face wash i.e. no need of makeup remover.

Pros:
1.    Soft and smooth application
2.    Easy application.
3.    Stays good on waterline
4.    Travel friendly
5.    Performs as claimed
6.    Good Color payoff
7.    Herbal
8.    Affordable
9.  Great Quantity

Cons:
1.    Does not stays for long on eyelid
2.    Not smudge proof on eyelid
3.    Availability
4.    Not bold black color

Ratings:
Packaging: 4/5
Texture: 4/5
Shade: 4/5
Staying Power: 3/5

Overall Rating: 3/5

Final Verdict:
I have no such issues with the kajal, the only thing would be that it is not so black. I personally love my kajal extremely black and if a kajal is not so, I tend to not buy it again.

Have a great day, Bye J
